By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, designed to ensure a seamless and joyful experience for you, your guests, and your beloved pets on your special day.

1. Services Overview

We provide specialized wedding pet services which includes pet sitting and care.

Specific services will be detailed in your personalized Service Agreement, which supplements these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking and Reservations

2.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing via our booking form

  • Services are subject to availability and confirmation

  • We recommend booking at least 8-12 weeks in advance for peak wedding season

2.2 Service Agreement

  • A detailed Service Agreement will outline specific services, timeline, and requirements

  • Both parties must sign the Service Agreement before services commence

  • Any changes to services must be agreed upon in writing

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Deposit and Payment Schedule

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding date

  • Late payment may result in service cancellation without refund

3.2 Payment Methods

  • All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

3.3 Additional Costs

  • Additional services requested on the wedding day may incur extra charges

  • Travel fees may apply from our base location

  • For destination weddings, additional charges apply including:

    • Travel expenses (airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation)

    • Extended service days (pre-arrival setup, post-wedding care)

    • International travel documentation and quarantine costs (if applicable)

    • Out-of-state/country licensing and permit fees

  • Emergency veterinary costs, if required, are the client's responsibility

  • Currency exchange fees for international destinations

3.4 Holiday Rate

High demand for pet-sitting services occurs during the holiday season. Stays that include any of the following dates will be additionally priced according to the service being provided. Any dates further in advance not listed will be updated at the time of inquiry.

  • Nov 27-30, 2025

  • Dec 24, 2025 - Jan 1, 2026

  • Jan 16-19, 2026

  • Feb 13-16, 2026

  • May 22-25, 2026

  • Sep 4-7, 2026

3.5 Extended Care Rate

At times, delays can happen and a two hour grace window is provided. The following rates apply in addition to agreed upon return or end time.

  • 2-8 hours = 50% daily rate

  • 8+ hours = 100% daily rate

3.6 Extended Stay Rate

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing

  • Cancellations more than 60 days before the wedding: deposit forfeited, remaining balance refunded

  • Cancellations 30-60 days before: 75% of total fee forfeited

  • Cancellations less than 30 days before: 100% of total fee forfeited

4.2 Service Provider Cancellations

  • In the unlikely event we must cancel, a full refund will be provided

  • We will assist in finding alternative pet care arrangements to the absolute best of our abilities.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Pet Information and Documentation

  • Provide accurate, complete information about your pet's health, behavior, and special needs

  • For destination weddings, provide all required travel documentation including:

    • Health certificates from licensed veterinarians (within required timeframes)

    • Import/export permits and quarantine documentation

    • Airline-approved carriers and travel arrangements

    • International vaccination requirements and microchip information

  • Disclose any behavioral issues, anxiety triggers, or medical conditions

  • Provide emergency veterinary contact information at destination

  • Arrange and pay for any required quarantine periods or veterinary examinations

5.2 Pet Preparation

  • Ensure pets are well-groomed and clean before service

  • Provide all necessary supplies (leashes, carriers, food, medications, comfort items)

  • Complete any recommended training or preparation activities

5.3 Communication

  • Maintain open communication regarding any changes to wedding plans

  • Notify us immediately of any changes in pet health or behavior

6. Our Responsibilities and Service Standards

6.1 Professional Care

  • Provide experienced, trained pet handler(s)

  • Follow all safety protocols and best practices

  • Respect your wedding timeline and venue requirements

6.2 Emergency Procedures

In case of pet medical emergencies during your event:

  • Maintain contact with local veterinary services

  • I will contact your designated emergency contact immediately

  • Share only essential medical information with veterinary professionals as needed

  • Maintain professional discretion throughout any emergency response

  • Document any incidents confidentially and provide you with complete reports

  • Coordinate all emergency responses with your wedding team as appropriate

7. Independent Contractor Protocols

When working with carefully selected independent contractors to assist with your pet care services, they are required to:

  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times

  • Use only essential information needed to provide quality pet care

  • Follow the same privacy standards that govern my direct services

All contractors understand their obligation to protect your privacy and maintain professional discretion throughout your event. However, each independent contractor operates as a separate business entity, and I am not responsible for their individual actions, decisions, or any breaches of their confidentiality obligations. While I carefully vet all contractors, their compliance with privacy standards and any liability for their conduct remains their individual responsibility.

8. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

8.1 Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing health conditions or behavioral issues

  • We are not liable for normal pet behaviors (shedding, accidents, etc.)

8.2 Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for service disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control including:

    • Severe weather, natural disasters

    • Venue restrictions or last-minute policy changes

    • Pet illness or emergency

    • Government regulations or restrictions

8.3 Pet Behavior

  • Clients acknowledge that animal behavior can be unpredictable

  • We reserve the right to remove pets from service if they pose a safety risk

  • Clients are responsible for any damage caused by their pets

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Wedding Pets], its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your pet's behavior or actions

  • Failure to provide accurate information about your pet

  • Failure to follow our recommendations or instructions

  • Any violation of these Terms & Conditions

10. Destination Wedding Specific Terms

10.1 Travel and Logistics

  • Destination wedding services require additional planning time (minimum 12-16 weeks advance booking)

  • Client is responsible for all travel arrangements and costs for service provider

  • Client must provide detailed destination information including climate, local regulations, and cultural considerations

  • Service provider will research and comply with all local pet care regulations and licensing requirements

10.2 International Travel Requirements

  • Client is responsible for ensuring all pet travel documentation meets destination country requirements

  • Service provider is not responsible for denied entry due to incomplete documentation

  • Client must arrange for any required quarantine facilities and associated costs

  • International services may require additional insurance coverage at client's expense

10.3 Extended Service Periods

  • Destination weddings may require multi-day services (arrival, wedding day, departure)

  • Daily rates apply for each day of service required

10.4 Local Partnerships

  • We may partner with local pet care providers at destination

  • Emergency contacts and local veterinary services will be established prior to travel

10.5 Weather and Environmental Considerations

  • Service may be modified based on destination climate and environmental factors

  • Extreme weather conditions may require service adjustments for pet safety

  • Client must disclose any environmental hazards or considerations at destination

11. Venue and Third-Party Coordination

I maintain professional communication standards and work discreetly with your wedding team when necessary for service coordination. All venue and vendor communications focus solely on pet care logistics while respecting your privacy. I use secure communication methods and maintain confidentiality in all professional interactions related to your wedding and pet care services.

11.1 Venue Requirements

  • Client is responsible for obtaining venue approval for pet attendance

  • Client must provide venue contact information and any pet-related restrictions

  • We will coordinate with venue staff as needed

11.2 Vendor Coordination

  • We will work professionally with photographers, planners, and other vendors

  • Coordination requirements should be discussed during planning phase

12. Privacy and Photography

12.1 Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information

  • We may take photos for our portfolio

12.2 Media Usage

  • By engaging our services, you grant us permission to use photos for marketing purposes

  • You may opt out of photo usage by notifying us in writing

13. Third-party Services & Vendor Relationships

My website or communications may include references to third-party services, payment processors, wedding venues, or vendor partners, each with their own privacy policies and terms and conditions, for which I am not responsible. While I carefully select partners who maintain professional standards, I cannot control or guarantee the privacy practices of external venues, wedding planners, caterers, photographers, or other vendors you may work with during your event.

When coordinating with wedding vendors or venues on your behalf, I ensure they understand the importance of maintaining appropriate discretion and professionalism regarding client information. However, any direct interactions you have with these third parties, or any information they collect independently, falls under their respective privacy policies and terms of service, not mine. I encourage you to review the privacy practices of any vendors or venues involved in your wedding planning process.

14. Intellectual Property

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Initial Resolution

  • Written complaints should be submitted within 15 days of service

  • Should any dispute be unresolved, mediation will take place under laws of Napa, California.
